Install IntelliGantt Add-In for MS Project (Build 4.0.0.130): Microsoft Project 2007 Add-In
Features
- Add In -- Customer requested that last name comma first name SharePoint members be flipped and the comma removed so that MS Project handles them correctly. This is usually caused by populating SharePoint members with Active Directory. By default, the flipping is on, but can be configured under the IntelliGantt -> Resource -> Fields form. (Thanks Charles)
- Application -- 'Send Template as Attachment' is available in the Template view by right-clicking on a template.
- Both -- A Milestone flag is now available in the Workspace Settings form. This is a Yes/No boolean field that will propagate to SharePoint if activated by turning the Member Read or Member Write fields on. This should help when using Bamboo rollups to pull in Milestone information. (Thanks Derek).
Usability
- Application -- When changing leads and lags in the Dependencies pane, IntelliGantt will push out or pull in the dependent task and all its dependencies.
- Application -- Changing the time scale shows the current scale in the button over the Gantt chart.
- Both -- When clicking the checkbox in the 'People' tree view, the members from the pool will be added to the resource filter, but not automatically activate the filter for that person.
- Both -- The currently selected resource filter is shown in the filter button by familiar name.
Bug Fixes
- Add In -- In some cases, new tasks weren't being picked up by the Add In and sent to SharePoint. We think this was a permissions issue we introduced and have fixed it. (Thanks Manuel)
- Application -- Um... assignments were broken.(A whole bunch of people found that one)
- Application -- Could not double click on IntelliGantt templates and have them automatically insert or update into the template pool.
- Both -- Resource filters, when more than resource selected, required all resources to be assigned in order for the task to pass. Now its any of the resources.

- Add In -- A customer asked if we could make updating a couple resource fields in MS Project configurable. Under IntelliGantt->Resource->Fields is an option to disable Group and Hyperlink updates. (Thanks David)
- Application -- Tri-Level Costing! You can choose to add resource costs, task cost1 - task cost10 and assignment cost1 - assignment cost10 to your cost values.
- Application -- Timesheets support applying reported values to assignment cost actuals.
- Application -- Backup is in. Save any project as a backup file.
- Application -- Send Template as Email Attachment is in. In the Templates window, right click shows the menu pick to send a template to another IntelliGantt user as an attachment. Receiving user double-clicks to add template to their template pool.
- Application -- Tri-Level costing menu option added under the Project main menu.
- Application -- Can scope Schedule to Estimates, Schedule to Actuals and Reported to Actuals by task instead of the entire project.
- Both -- IntelliGantt now matches the task with the projects when sharing and reporting to SharePoint Change Request and Budgeting and Tracking templates.(Thanks Sasa)
Usability
- Add In -- When unsharing a project and removing the tasks, hyperlinks are now removed from the MS Project tasks since the sharepoint tasks no longer exist. (Thanks Kelly)
- Both -- Cost field behavior settings now have their own form.

- Application -- Drag and Drop with empty rows were causing an exception.(Thanks Zachary)
- Application -- Deleting rows that had just been added were causing an exception. (Thanks Zachary)

- Add In -- When applying actuals, if you had 'Let Microsoft Project compute all actuals' turned on, then IntelliGantt was unable to set actual values and would give up. New behavior is not to set actuals AND provide a message explaining why.

- Both -- If using the Project Task List when sharing, the Task Status and Priority fields sometimes lost their choices.
- Both -- Unsharing a workspace was not resetting all the share parameters.
- Both -- When resolving membership, IntelliGantt was getting stymied by groups that couldn't be resolved not because of permission but some other reason. We put in additional logging and informational messages and rather than exiting unwisely IntelliGantt continues gracefully.
- Add In -- Recover operation was quite slow for large projects. It's been sped up significantly.

- Both -- More Workspace Settings has additional options for how costs are computed. Include Task Costs includes the Cost1 - Cost10 custom fields to the Cost value. Include Resource Cost includes all the assignment costs.
- Application -- MindManager 8 import supported. Export, read and write will be in the next update.
- Application -- Timesheets are in! Each assignment can have one or more timesheet entry. Timesheets are rolled up into to assignment costs, which are rolled up in to task costs.
- Application -- Aggregate toggles for Timesheets and Assignments. You can view the timesheets and/or assignments for a selected task, or view all the timesheets and/or assignments for a task and its children.
- Application -- A simple MSI is available for corporations with firewalls that don't like ClickOnce packages. This will also work with Citrix Servers and virtualization.

- Both -- If a SharePoint member matches a member in the resource pool, the resource pool's hourly rate is used to populate the SharePoint member's like value.
- Application -- First 4 columns in the task grid are now fixed so Unread, ID, Status and content associations are always visible.
- Application -- When a workspace is turned in to a template, the estimates are maintained but the actuals are cleared.

- Both -- email addresses with special XML characters like & were causing a problem after sharing a project.
- Both -- The date/time control when creating a new task was always disabled.
